Smt Jayanthi Sridharan is a senior carnatic Vocalist and sishya of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Smt M L Vasanthakumari (who had sung Thiruppavai in early 70's and HMV had released the LP records in those days). The uniqueness of Smt Jayanthi is that she has undertaken several thematic concerts based on divya prabandham, Srimad Bhagavatham, Srimad Bhagavad gita and other holy texts.
Sri U. Ve Natteri Srihari Swami had provided invaluable guidance in perfecting the diction in singing this and all other divya prabandham.
