MulaRamayanam is the first
canto of Balakanda in Srimad Ramayana written by Adikavi
Valmiki. MulaRamayanam is also known as Sankshepa Ramayanam
or Bala Ramayanam. It describes the complete life of Sri
Rama in 100 lucid verses.
Dr Anuradha Shivakumar is a senior volunteer of Samskrita Bharati. She has completed her MA in Sanskrit at Karnataka State Open University. During her MPhil studies, she did a critical study on Varaha Upanishad which is one amongst the twenty Yogopanishads. Under the expert guidance of Dr K S Balasubramanian, she completed her doctorate through The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute, affiliated to Madras University. She did a critical edition and study of a thousand year old yoga manuscript called “Amrita Siddhi Yoga” authored by Virupaksha Siddha during her research period.
